We are a company that believes in doing things the right way. Our owner, Derik Massey, has been in the moving industry for the last 6 years. He worked as President of a national moving company and grew them from a 10 truck company into a 90 truck company. Through this, Derik gained an understanding of what it means to create a great experience for the client. We believe our job is to not only provide the quality you need, but create a fun and friendly experience at the same time. Derik spent the last several years as President of one of the nation’s leading moving companies. Through that experience, and other life experiences, Derik was able to craft a business model where quality and experience of the client is put above profit or circumstance. With Derik’s passion of serving people, employees, clients, and the community, Blue Beaver Movers was born. When Derik isn’t training employees, connecting with the community, stopping by jobs, or growing the business, you can find him spending time with his family, hunting or fishing, or watching sports.

I will start by saying that I would have loved to have given this business five stars. The reasons for five stars would be that the movers were on time, friendly, professional, polite, and I would use this company again no questions asked. One of the best moving companies I have ever used. The movers I had were Franklin and Durrell, both excellent! I can't say enough positive things about that team. My reason for the four star rating: Don't give them a time in which you would like to be done. They seem to rush. Rushing them led to a table broken and a dresser with severe scratches that weren't there prior to the move. Just make sure you over budget if you want your items taken care of. The items that they moved properly, i.e. shrink wrap, moving blankets were transported flawlessly, other items not so much. UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW: Jose the owner contacted me within hours of my post to discuss my review. He was very professional and pleasant and willingly made an adjustment to my moving charges to rectify the situation. This gesture was much appreciated and I will still use this company again for a move.

Where does one start? First this company was recommended by a friend. When we first contacted them there response was slow to get back, first flag. Second, the owner at first brings all the charm. After that just trying to get quote was tiring. Should have stopped at that point. Once they showed up, the packers did a decent job. No problems with them except when they were ready to go, it was adios. Fast forward, moving day, showed up with no dolly, dropped my safe off the ramp, stuffed furniture in truck... get the picture. Stored until move-in day. To end the nightmare, almost all furniture stored was either broke, scratched or heat damaged. This was in September 19. We are still trying to get insurance information from owner. Worst customer service and movers I have ever dealt with by far. We have moved maybe a dozen times over the years. Bottom line... stay away!!!

Phenomenal work and very professional and courteous. I can't recommend enough how much effort and hard work Derik and Eric put in when I hired them. Hope I don't have to move again soon, but if I do, at least it'll be easy deciding who to use as movers.
