American Knights Moving & Storage - Houston

Worst move ever. The crème de le creme of sales people told me what I needed to hear to seal the deal. They mentioned how several companies contract them for corporate moves and how reliable they are. They brokered my deal to one of the worst movers. They damaged several of my boxes and completely lost my $1500+ TV console, after delivering my items close to 6 weeks after pickup. When I called, they said they would open an investigation, which took another two weeks. Finally, they sent me information to submit an insurance claim. Their rep said I had 1 year to submit the claim from the time of the move. When I finally got through all my boxes to discover what else was missing, and submit the claim, I was told I could not submit the claim because the time had lapsed.. even though it was before the year timeframe. They said they would let me resolve it directly with them due to the mixup.. I submitted close to $3000 of items that were damaged or just never arrived. They offered me $100. While the majority of this experience happened with their subcontractor, they should take full ownership because they elected to use them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. There is nothing worse than a company with no integrity to make things right.

We were using this American Knights Moving for our requirement on 3/30/2024. We had an amazing experience with our moving, the guys were very nice and they did the good job. Customer service from Tanya is very responsive and our moving went very smoothly. Their prices are very competitive than other moving companies. I would like to give 5 out of 5. Thank you guys for your wonderful job.

I had the best experience with this company. Jeny the sales rep was very knowledgeable and gave me a great price. She even price matched another company and I chose to go with American Knights due to her customer service. The movers did an excellent job at pickup and at drop off! They were so quick to unload. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Planning to file multiple claims with multiple sources against this group. Executive desk (one piece) snapped into 3 pieces and then wrapped individually, taped, completely destroyed (they destroyed it, then wrapped each piece in blankets and heavily taped each one). 95% of fabric furniture stained and / or destroyed, multiple chairs legs severed, arms smashed and destroyed. Fragile boxes marked and wrapped piled under heavy items. Mover showed up with hourly Craigs list hires with no tools, box cutters etc.. two were told to leave, after threatening comments were made. We quickly brought in (6) people on our own and paid them to work the entire day. A complete debacle and disgrace. Some furniture was obviously stored uncovered outdoors, grease and filth smeared throughout. ACME was the company hired, they subbed to this outfit. They said insurance may pay .60 per pound for the damage and no more (less than 1% of value). Massive losses, the absolute worst experience with a contracted company and the damage to personal pieces which we paid 1500 per month for storage. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

I have used other movers in the past and I have not had good experiences. However, this company was really amazing!!! The movers were friendly, quick and most importantly they were very careful not to scratch anything. They went out of their way to make sure that I was happy. Would highly recommend to use them!
