Everyone at Old World Movers was awesome from the first call. Sheila was so helpful in helping me coordinate this small but massive job within 24 hrs. I didn’t realize how heavy and cumbersome this glass top table was going to be when purchased at an estate sale but Sheila took care of me! She put me in touch with Jacob who was the 3rd party vendor that built the crate. He was on sight the next day helping get the glass wrapped up and in the crate. He was so organized and a pleasure to work with.
James and Ralph were the movers. I don’t think anyone realized the scope of this job but they remain positive and professional throughout and got the job done. Once they realized what they were into they did request extra help to get it moved. They earned every bit of the extra tip
I will Definately be calling Olde World movers when we move ! So impressed!
The movers were nice and I definitely needed help, but make sure if you’re driving to your new location that you have them follow you NOT meet you there. This way you aren’t paying for the extra time that they hang out after loading your stuff. Added an extra $200 to my estimate when 40 minutes were wasted on travel (I was at my new apartment 20 minutes before they showed up) even though when I booked this moving company they told me that the $210 truck fee included travel. I know now that’s just the travel to and from their office. I didn’t save any money with this company even though it was a “light move” and I wish now that I had gone with two men and a truck.
I had an issue with my most recent move... and wrote a less than sterling review. The owner called me this morning and talked to me about everything and apologized about it and offered a full refund along with someone coming out here to fix my bed, his name is Raymond and he was very kind and kept me up to date. I used them two years ago and it was a fantastic experience and I was surprised about this latest move. The fact that the owner called me so quickly and apologized and made it right has made this turn around and I really appreciate the accountability on his part and it made me feel valued like he really cared and listened. It definitely changed my opinion which is why I am rewriting my review. Thank you to Eric and Raymond for driving all the way out here from Euless to Frisco.
Tom and I were very pleased with the 2 young men who helped us move. Rob and Jagar were very efficient, personable and respectful. They were truly concerned about taking care of our belongings. We would recommend your company in a heartbeat. We thank you and your employees for a job well done. Blessings to you all.
Well, to start, Anita was my point of contact she was very direct, helpful, and patient with us. She got us our in home quote person, Shane, to us quickly and had the quote back within 24 hrs. They assigned us 2 trucks and 5 men. They showed up about 15 mins past 9, when quoted 8-9 arrival, no biggie. They came in and got straight to work!!! Ain't no joking those 5 men, Jamal, Stephen, Charleston, Jacob, and Adam worked in the 108 degrees outside with no lag. I would offer them water or other cold beverages, and they chugged while still working. It was impressive!!! They were careful and diligent with everything they moved. Our family is appreciative beyond words not only with the work ethic but the respect out of each one of them. We have 2 young kids, and they were great examples of courteous men around them, which was beyond expectations. Other than the 15 mins past start time, no complaints and even that could have been traffic or another situation out of their control. Would recommend to anyone!
