provided all my information address etc. and confirmed… they argued with me on the phone once I was able to contact the supervisor claiming they called me but I have nothing. What was the point of confirming the night before ?! nnFurther more the main mover guy was extremely rude and had a horrible attitude when moving my items around which was making me feel uncomfortable, the other young man was great and tried his best to do his job with the other guy who has attitude. Overall they moved my stuff but it wasn’t professionally and they had a horrible attitude what was the point of confirming and setting this up with a time for them to show up late and to do a half ass. :/ it was extremely expensive which I don’t mind if the job was done professionally. (Which it wasn’t) nnMy husband with the owner on the phone who said he would call us back to fix the situation and never called us back! It’s been a week! I tried to get the situation fixed! Or at least a partial refund for the time that I spent waiting and the horrible attitude that their workers had it was very inconvenient and threw off my whole day because of the time situation and the attitude was just very unprofessional. nnI will be leaving a review on all social media platforms as well as the BBB I hopes nobody wastes their time with this company. nn1 STAR ⭐️
SHOWED UP OVER AN HOUR LATEnMOVERS HAD HORRIBLE Attitude and was nagging the whole time I confirm the night before my address and all my information I picked this company to avoid issues and had nothing but issues the owner was supposed to give me a call back to fix the issues and never did it’s been a week I really recommend do not waste your time with this company. Extremely unprofessional and LATE!! They’ll make u wait and do not answer your calls. I waited an hour and nobody would call or answer me.
I hired John Ferguson to move my household after reading excellent reviews. I have been beyond disappointed. First, he sent a 3 man crew to move a 3,192 sq ft house with a 500 sq ft casita with only a local truck and trailer. After 2 loads for both the truck and trailer, all goods were not moved and I had to hire someone else to finish. None of his employees could back a trailer. They hit my gate and messed it up. One of my friends fixed it when Mr. Ferguson did not. While unpacking, I discovered 3 pieces of treasured pottery broken. Two pieces were very delicate pottery crosses. I told his employees I would pack those. Well, they put them in bubble wrap on the BOTTOM of a box with a lamp and an I-Robot on top. One is absolutely shattered. They put a pottery bowl in a box of heavy vases, with very little wrapping; it's in too many pieces to repair. Mr. Ferguson's response was for me to glue it back together. And, a portion of my Stickley library table is missing. He has failed to respond to my text regarding that. I cannot recommend John Ferguson Moving & Storage.
I needed to do a long distance move on short notice from El Paso to Kyle TX. I had to coordinate this while working between Texarkana and Louisiana. John was great with showing up within 48 hours for an onsite estimate. Movers arrived within the week to crate a one bedroom apartment. They also helped me trash excess junk from the garage. A few months later they delivered everything Kyle with extra support in fixing the bed frame. John has a great, caring, patient and professional crew, both loading and delivering. Items held well in 2 month storage. Definitely recommend John and his crew anytime!!
Great Experience with John Ferguson Moving!
We recently used John Ferguson Moving and they were great from start to finish. The service was professional, reliable, and absolutely worth the price.
Their communication was excellent and made the entire process stress-free.
We received helpful emails months in advance to assist with budgeting and planning.
They used texting for quick updates and confirmations, which was very convenient.
The moving staff were polite, incredibly efficient, and careful with all of our belongings. I was happy the initial quote was spot-on, they proved to be a completely trustworthy company.
If you're looking for a moving company that delivers great value and peace of mind, we highly recommend John Ferguson. Thank you John, great working with you!
What began as a promising experience after meeting John (the owner) who is a very nice person, turned into a big disappointment.
They experienced a traffic delay and arrived several hours late for packing and ran out of boxes so had to leave early (around 3:30) the first day. Another traffic delay resulted in a late start the following day resulting in a late departure. This was our first disappointment.
After unpacking our goods at destination, we were pleased to find only minor damage to our furniture and other household goods not worth worrying about since we have made numerous moves, all of which had small damage.
The really big disappointment came when we did our inventory. We are missing several items from the garage/shop which had more items than our house. The missing tools, all of which were slightly used and in perfect condition, are.worth several hundred dollars.
My advice to you, should you choose to use Ferguson’s, is to watch carefully what is unloaded at your destination. One of my missing items was an automobile floor jack which is certainly large and was not wrapped. I failed to monitor unloading so discovered it missing only days later when I needed to use it.
I contacted John Ferguson via text but got no reply from him.
John and his team came in for the clutch. Ferguson Moving took most of the stress from a cross country move. A full household move filling an 18 wheeler and John and his team seamlessly crated the cargo for warehouse storage while the husband and I were stl on the road. Meghan is great w scheduling notifications and the loading crew are fast, efficient & mindful of fragile items and house interior. Crates needed to be sorted for further storage and the crew never seemed inconvenienced. Reasonable pricing and took most of the stress from a household move. Cheers!
Reasonably priced for expert professional moves. Smooth transition from 3rd party cross country move to warehouse storage (was out of state, went seamlessly) aswel as local transport (warehouse to property).
I have used Ferguson moving for several moves, both large and small and have always been satisfied with their work. Honest prices, attention to detail and great customer service set them apart from other moving companies in El Paso. In an industry that often struggles with finesse, they have it nailed. I will only trust John and his workers. A+ work always.
