provided all my information address etc. and confirmed… they argued with me on the phone once I was able to contact the supervisor claiming they called me but I have nothing. What was the point of confirming the night before ?! nnFurther more the main mover guy was extremely rude and had a horrible attitude when moving my items around which was making me feel uncomfortable, the other young man was great and tried his best to do his job with the other guy who has attitude. Overall they moved my stuff but it wasn’t professionally and they had a horrible attitude what was the point of confirming and setting this up with a time for them to show up late and to do a half ass. :/ it was extremely expensive which I don’t mind if the job was done professionally. (Which it wasn’t) nnMy husband with the owner on the phone who said he would call us back to fix the situation and never called us back! It’s been a week! I tried to get the situation fixed! Or at least a partial refund for the time that I spent waiting and the horrible attitude that their workers had it was very inconvenient and threw off my whole day because of the time situation and the attitude was just very unprofessional. nnI will be leaving a review on all social media platforms as well as the BBB I hopes nobody wastes their time with this company. nn1 STAR ⭐️
SHOWED UP OVER AN HOUR LATEnMOVERS HAD HORRIBLE Attitude and was nagging the whole time I confirm the night before my address and all my information I picked this company to avoid issues and had nothing but issues the owner was supposed to give me a call back to fix the issues and never did it’s been a week I really recommend do not waste your time with this company. Extremely unprofessional and LATE!! They’ll make u wait and do not answer your calls. I waited an hour and nobody would call or answer me.
I hired John Ferguson to move my household after reading excellent reviews. I have been beyond disappointed. First, he sent a 3 man crew to move a 3,192 sq ft house with a 500 sq ft casita with only a local truck and trailer. After 2 loads for both the truck and trailer, all goods were not moved and I had to hire someone else to finish. None of his employees could back a trailer. They hit my gate and messed it up. One of my friends fixed it when Mr. Ferguson did not. While unpacking, I discovered 3 pieces of treasured pottery broken. Two pieces were very delicate pottery crosses. I told his employees I would pack those. Well, they put them in bubble wrap on the BOTTOM of a box with a lamp and an I-Robot on top. One is absolutely shattered. They put a pottery bowl in a box of heavy vases, with very little wrapping; it's in too many pieces to repair. Mr. Ferguson's response was for me to glue it back together. And, a portion of my Stickley library table is missing. He has failed to respond to my text regarding that. I cannot recommend John Ferguson Moving & Storage.

I had a really great experience with John Ferguson Moving & Storage and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and trustworthy moving company. From start to finish, the entire process was handled with care and professionalism.
The movers were punctual, friendly, respectful, and extremely hardworking. They treated all of my belongings with care and made sure everything was properly handled throughout the move. I really appreciated how careful they were with furniture, boxes, and other items, while still working efficiently and getting everything done in a timely manner.
Moving can be stressful, but the team made the experience so much easier. They were organized, communicated well, and were willing to help with anything that needed attention. It was clear that they take pride in their work and genuinely care about providing good service.
I also appreciated their professionalism and positive attitude throughout the entire move. Everyone I interacted with was courteous and helpful, which made a big difference.

I hired out John Ferguson for an in-town move. I had previously hired them 9 years ago and I was very happy and impressed with their service, so I decided to give them another opportunity.
They did not disappoint. Their crew showed up 10 minutes early. They were all very nice, professional, and did an amazing job.
They were very mindful and careful with all of my belongings and I couldn’t be happier.
The pricing in my opinion was incredibly fair and reasonable.

The entire crew was kind, courteous, professional, and SO quick. They took such great care of all of our belongings and made the whole process incredibly easy and stress-free. They packed and moved everything while I basically sat on my butt and watched them work, so I really can’t complain about a thing!
I’m genuinely so thankful we had such a great crew helping us and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company.
And an extra thank you for all the food recommendations! I’m looking forward to supper and putting those recommendations to good use!
They were always on time and careful with my possessions. They crafted boxes out of cardboard to encase oddly shaped objects! That was incredible to me. John’s teams are always polite and professional.
A word about John Ferguson: I talk to the moving men and I always ask them if they are happy working for John. To a man they all expressed that John is a great boss and owner. That tells me a lot about a great culture at this company. And that translates to happy and dedicated employees who are honest and hard working.
Christian Rinker was excellent! One is always anxious and nervous during a move but I had full confidence with Christian.
I’ve used Furgeson 3x. First two were excellent. This last one was abominable. I hired three movers. Right away the driver of the truck was upset bc the large space for him to park was not to his comfort and took 30 min to loop around and park anyway. He quit working bc he had allergies and sat in the truck for hours. They sent a very young and able man which worked hard and they sent an older man who was DRUNK. He smelled of liquor and was dropping boxes. When I mentioned to the young guy, the man was no longer moving things out, he stayed inside the truck and the youngest was doing all the work. I called the manager. He was aware of the situation and was sending a replacement. The manager came down and apologized saying they would take care of me and the discrepancy. They didn’t. They knocked off $200 but still charged me for two movers even though I only had one doing all the work. The substitute was very unprofessional and told my sister she looked like my mom. I’m not kidding. Then asked us if we could tailor his pants. JFC. NEVER AGAIN.
