Maxi Moving

10/10 would use and recommend maxi moving again. They were super communicative and easy to work with when planning the move. Day of move, we had three movers and they were very efficient and nice people. Careful with all our stuff and worked very hard moving from one walk up to another.

I normally don't write reviews, but I just want to share my positive experience. These guys were great. They were very careful with the furniture and my piano. They came prepared with all the necessary tools and equipment to protect the piano and floors. They took their time and were very careful in moving the piano to the new location, including up a few flights of stairs. I will use Maxi Moving again and again! Maxi Moving should be the only movers you consider if you love your piano. I can't express how appreciative we are for everything that you guys did for us! I want to publicly thank Ivan and his crew for their excellent work. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Maxi Moving moved me from NY to TX last summer and did a fantastic job with my difficult situation. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING broke and nothing was lost. The professional manner in which they handled everything was great to observe and so rare these days. Had difficult items to be packed they knew how to handle each piece perfectly. Bottom line (I know I sound repetitive) Professional, Great communication, Punctual within the confines of NY/Westchester traffic, Clean, Attentive and Accommodating and even handled delivery wonderfully at my non NY-like setting in TX. Highly recommend if you value your belongings, worth every penny!

I used Maxi Moving in early June 2025 to move from Brooklyn, NY to Woodbridge, NJ. I think the whole process was very easy and I felt very impressed with the service I received. Full disclosure: No one has asked me to write this review, I'm doing it just because of how good the experience was. The process was like this: A month before I moved, I went on their website and listed the items I wanted to move. They came back with a quote the next day and Joe Josephat from the company called me and left me his contact information. I then shopped around other movers for a week and came back to Maxi moving because of positive reviews I read. I reached out to Joe and we had an hour long conversation on the phone where I gave him a list of every single item I wanted moved, including my 75 inch TV to be taken down from the wall and safely transported. Once that was completed, he gave me a much more accurate quote which was larger but allotted for the additional time we needed. Finally Joe let me upload a video of everything I wanted to move, and reviewed it to confirm the quote was accurate. The next day Maxi emailed me the COIs I needed for my old and new building. I put my deposit down with Joe and we agreed on a date. A week before the move I reached out and was told we were on track. The night before the move they emailed me and reminded me of the move. Then the day of the move the three actual movers texted me and told me they were on their way to arrive around 9:00 AM. They arrived around 9:10 and after I met with the lead (I forgot his name but was a very pleasant new russian immigrant - they were all three young guys - russian immigrants in their early 20s). We went over everything in the apartment, I told him what I wanted to throw in the garbage, what I wanted wrapped, etc. After that, we went over the contract, I signed a few things, and they started the process. They worked very well, carted off my boxes, taped things a few extra times that I didn't do enough. They wrapped all my furniture very well and it was padded. They also were concerned about some of my glass furniture so they took it apart and wrapped it too. They took my TV off, wrapped it too. A lot of care went into this and they were super professional and extremely polite. Finally around 1pm we wrapped up in my old place (took almost 4 hours for a 1 bedroom but the amount of care they put in and effort was easily noticeable). They then told me they'd take a small lunch that I would not be charged for, and then get to NJ by 2 something. True to their words, they arrived around 2:30p - and made sure to remove the extra time for their lunch. Unloading was very fast, they put everything where I wanted, reassembled my furniture, my couch, etc. They confirmed my TV was undamaged and plugged it in to test. Afterwards because we were done about an hour early, they decreased the amount of money I owed them, and did not try to pad time. Super professional. I gave them all a good tip and covered their lunch. My family who was with me were all super impressed with the service. Only one tiny piece of damage happened to my furniture, some paint was rubbed off on one of my ikea metal shelving units. I think thats perfectly reasonable as I had a lot of things to move and everything else arrived perfectly. I took some enamel white paint and fixed it up myself. Oh and they made sure I counted everything out and confirmed all my furniture was there (and my boxes) before we signed off. Never did I feel rushed, lied to, or mishandled. I am truly happy I chose this company and will do so again in the future. Will also recommend to anyone who asks for a good mover. Its hard to find good help and I am just so happy I went with these guys.
