The men who showed up to my home were nice and it seemed as if they were doing a good job. I didn't supervise every minute and I should have. They were asked to wrap all of the furniture in blankets or shrink wrap, they didn't. My bed, which had a fabric covered headboard had dents and scratches in it (it's ruined). My bookcases (see pictures) were also totally ruined. Many of the frames on my hanging art and pictures were damaged -- either the frames were scratched because they weren't wrapped or the frames just separated from the glass. My couch and couch cushions were not wrapped and one pillow stained. And, to make matters worse, when I called to report this DURING BUSINESS HOURS, I had to leave a message and never received a return call. Use at your own risk.

Superb moving experience from Portland, Oregon to Chicago, Illinois. Both operators were extremely professional and all went very well. I especially want to commend the excellent service of our Chicago movers; Federico ? and Matt Nunez. Super helpful and hardworking men. A+ I highly recommend and I personally will use again.

I cannot recommend Two Men and a Truck enough. This is the second time I’ve used them, and both experiences have been easy, professional, and completely stress-free. Since he had prepared my original quote, he was able to quickly pull it up and adjust it based on the actual number of boxes and furniture I had — no hassle, no hidden charges, just straightforward honesty. The other office staff I spoke to were equally kind and reassuring, which immediately gave me peace of mind after the ordeal I had just gone through. On moving day, the crew arrived right on time, handled everything with care, and worked efficiently. They were diligent, respectful of my belongings, and had everything packed and out within an hour. The entire process was smooth, professional, and fairly priced, exactly what you want from a moving company. After two consistently excellent moves with them, I can confidently say I trust Two Men and a Truck with my belongings and their quotes, unlike others in the area. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking for movers who are honest, reliable, and capable of delivering outstanding service even on the tightest timelines.

I cannot recommend Aidan, Alonzo, and Alexis enough. These three were absolute lifesavers during my move. From start to finish, they were incredibly helpful, unbelievably fast, and impressively efficient. What could’ve been a stressful day turned into the smoothest move I’ve ever experienced. Each of them was kind, courteous, and genuinely cared about my belongings. They treated everything with great caution—no dings, no scratches, just careful handling all around. They worked like a well-oiled machine, but never rushed at the expense of safety. If you’re looking for movers who are professional, respectful, and go above and beyond, Aidan, Alonzo, and Alexis are the dream team. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend.

I've used Two Men and A Truck with great satisfaction in the past. This weekend's experience did not match. While Dennis, the lead man displayed competence of an experienced mover, his two assistants required supervision and guidance which added time on to my move as they stumbled about trying to figure out things or stupid chatting as they waited for Dennis to finish something before he could answer questions or coach them. In one instance, one guy brought a hardwood table to my backyard deck (requiring him to walk around my neighbor's house as we are attached townhomes) and I needed to restate that the table was going upstairs into the office. He then said he was a bit confused, thought it couldn't go upstairs (stairway not sure enough) and appeared befuddled that the legs were nailed and not screwed into the table. He later acknowledged that it was his mistake, that he was used to more narrow staircases. The table made it upstairs, but not without damage to my door trim. While the three men were polite and friendly, I was most disappointed when I asked them to reposition two pieces of furniture that were terribly off center and not according to my initial instructions. Dennis told me that he would have to charge me for another 15 minute increment of time (@ $293/hr I was not pleased, as this was their error). Upon review of my text and phone logs, I have also discovered that Dennis did in fact miscalculate his starting time (something I questioned when he and I were initially reviewing was my charge was). I left a voice mail for customer service and am waiting for their call back. At this point, I am feeling reluctant to rehire for future needs.

I was overcharged by $900, I was offered $100 as a good will gesture. No thanks. I was taken advantage of and you know it.
