TLDR: rushed job, inexperienced staff, products arrived in poor condition.
1. Quality of Service: the team was quick, perhaps too quick. All of the clothes they threw in the boxes were packed so poorly they didn’t make the drive. We left the boxes boxed up for a few weeks, and they came out looking like they had been balled up at the bottom of a hamper. Much of our artwork is ruined now, including paintings my wife and I have moved ourselves from three different places.
2. Customer Engagement: Unprompted, the lead mover walked up to me mid job and informed me typical gratuity is $100 a pop, on top of the $2300 fee for a 3 bed. They like cash too, if you were wondering.
3. Packaging Expense: $400 in packaging materials. Cardboard boxes a few blankets and tape must have really skyrocketed in price!
4. Staff: Moving mid July, we got the JV squad. Some of them were literal children, like still in high school children. They were moving without proper guidance and I watched them drop and scratch my stuff in front of me
5. Scheduling and Coordination: They actually did a phenomenal job coordinating and running us through logistics. Whoever does the coordination deserves a raise.
Look I’ve used five different moving services throughout the Chicagoland area, and this is the ONLY time I’ve left a review (read my history if you don’t believe me, just click on my profile).
I know others have had good experiences with these guys, but we did not.

I had an excellent experience with Mighty Movers. They sent three movers for my job, and from start to finish they were professional, efficient, and friendly. The lead, Roberto, set the tone right away—organized, clear in communication, and made sure everything went smoothly.
The crew worked quickly but carefully, taking great care with my belongings and showing real teamwork. What impressed me most was how respectful and courteous they were the whole time. Moving is stressful, but they made it easy.
I highly recommend Mighty Movers, and especially Roberto and his team. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. They broke my furniture. This was as simple a move as it could possibly be, as we were only moving next door. My husband and I had also made everything as simple as possible—we had already taken most of the things over ourselves, and had taken the drawers out of things to move ourselves. Without permission, they dismantled my vanity and broke it in the process. They told me they would wrap up all my furniture, but I witnessed them carry my mirrored cabinets very haphazardly with no sort of packing or protection. They also broke the door on our cat tower. They tried to tell us first these items had been moved too many times, this was a lie, as both these items are new. The vanity that they broke was also built by expert assembly so that could not have been the issue. They then admitted to us in person that they broke my vanity beyond repair, and told us to file a claim. Filing a claim today has already been the most arm twisting process, and it’s been like pulling teeth to get updates on the situation and next steps. Last I heard, I have to wait a week for the head of the company to “review my claim”—no idea what happens after that (I asked them, Steve did not respond). You can see below where they tore off the wood of the vanity, and completely snapped another piece of it in half.

I had such a great experience with this moving company! They sent three movers with a big truck and handled two stops without any issues. The team was on time, super friendly, and worked quickly while still being careful with my things. Everything went smoothly from start to finish, and they made the whole process so much easier than I expected. I’d definitely use them again and highly (and already) recommended them to anyone needing movers!
