Unless you want to be overcharged and get your items damaged from carelessness, don’t use this moving service. I’ve tried reaching out to the company directly about my grievances but was ignored. From the very beginning, the interaction felt concerning. The lead mover came to my unit, had me sign the contract and note the start time, and then immediately began insisting that all of my furniture and belongings had been wrapped incorrectly. He stated that everything would need to be unwrapped, partially disassembled, and rewrapped. Having moved multiple times before without any issues related to how my belongings were prepared, this felt unnecessary and likely to prolong the process. Ultimately, i had to sign a waiver for my glass items which were ironically not damaged. Later in the move, the lead mover refused to transport my indoor plants, stating the dirt would spill and ruin his truck. During unloading, I observed that items were not packed strategically in the truck, resulting in furniture shifting and some non-glass items being damaged. Additionally, the handling of my belongings, particularly by the lead mover, was noticeably rough. I also noticed a discrepancy in efficiency. Loading from a 23rd-floor unit took approximately one hour, while unloading into a first-floor unit took over an hour, with the pace appearing to slow significantly. This resulted in exceeding the estimated time. At the end of the move, I was asked to pay for an additional 30 minutes, despite the overage being closer to 10 minutes. This felt inconsistent and unjustified. I had to keep calling the management team every step of the way to avoid getting ripped off.

Wolley Movers was one of the companies recommended on a FB community group in Chicago. They had a lot of good reviews and after speaking with multiple companies to get an estimate on our move, they had one of the most transparent offers. So I booked them and I’m so glad I did. The moving crew was so professional, kind , and efficient even in the midst of a heatwave. (mind you we were moving from a 3rd floor apartment to a second floor)I was blown away and felt bad I didn’t have enough water left to give them. They completed the move within the estimated time frame (2.5. Hours) and did it with what looked like ease. They even showed up 30 minutes early and were ready to go by the time I met up with them. We have already recommended them to others who have some upcoming moves as well. Highly recommend them. 10/10.

They were very professional, very knowledgeable. Great customer service. They were able to get an 3hr job done with in 2 1/2 hours with no mistakes at all. A really good company to go with. They pack everything so neatly, place everything so perfectly. Very happy with there services from the phone operator to the mover’s. Thank you so much for a wonderful moving service.

Wolley Movers did a wonderful job! This is the second time I used them. They worked fast, and were careful with my furniture and belongings in the way they wrapped them and carried them. These guys are so strong too! Much appreciated!

So, I scheduled these movers for today 07/02/2026. They came and walk through it, pointed at one open box (which we were working on) and said "we can't take that" with already ennoyed voice. Walk thorough and left. After I called them and raised my voice they came back and started moving. Towards the end I parked my truck and asked them to bring the boxes to my truck. They refused, saying that they do not have time. Mind you this was one hour after they started to move and I reserved them for three hours plus option to pay them by hour afterwards. The main guy was super impolite. They moved me and then the main guy when he was handling me bill for three hours plus one hour of traveling, which they did the whole move within two and a half hours including travel time, he asked for 15 - 20% tip. I think that guy deserves a medal for having guts. Either way I would caution you about this company, and if you think moving is stressful enough, try to find some company that helps to lower your stress not to add to it.
