They are amazing!!! Very efficient and easy to get along with. They work with you not against you. Extremely helpful. Domingo, Jose, Jorge and Floy were awesome and amazing guys!!! They have helped us move from a home to storage and then to another home. We will definitely use Blankenship Movers for any moving needs!!! You will not be disappointed!! Exceptional. This is the second time that I have hired Blankenship. I hired another company initially and ran into a problem last minute. I had forgotten that I had saved the Blankenship phone number from probably ten years prior and randomly saw their contact information in my phone. I called Sean, who is outstanding, and within hours he had a team of three movers at my door with boxes I needed, on time. They packed me up at 7:00pm and finished at 1:20am even though they had a move to be at at 7:30am the next day. Really no words can express how grateful I am that Sean and his crew made it happen. Domingo, Giovanni, and Jose took great care of my items and were extremely trustworthy. I have had movers that were theives and this is something that you don't need to worry about. Sean has a great crew. It was reasonably priced, too. I cannot recommend them enough. They were so accommodating and overall, experts. THANK YOU for being my heroes for the day, TRULY!!! They helped us move from city to the suburb, and I was unhappy with the service. Initially the quote for the move was approx. $1100, a 5 1/2 to 6 hour job. I gave the owner a video walkthrough of my apartment to get an accurate estimate. The move manager (on the day of the move) also surveyed the apartment and estimated 5.5 to 6 hours. In the end, it took 9 hours to finish the job. I found their move method, organization, load and unload activities to be inefficient and the time it took to finish the move says it. I saw multiple movers take a single box at a time (light boxes like a humidifier box or a toy box for the kid). Their process, speed, effort was quite slow (once again, 9 hours!). The mover manager said there were more boxers than anticipated and some of the boxes were not labelled. That should not add 3 hours! There was no official box count given and we directed them to the right rooms if something wasn't labelled. Beyond that, after the move they dumped previous moves garbage into our garbage can. It was full of junk, from boxes, to throwaway tools, food packaging and what not. It took me an hour to sort everything out (garbage vs recycle) and clean the can. One of the movers was not comfortable wearing masks. I asked twice (directly and also instructed the move manager) to have everyone wear a mask, especially when they are inside the house. One of the movers said I can’t breath wearing the mask and his mask was off for most of the move. Overall, they showed up on time, were professional and courteous but had major misses in other areas: - Took 9 hours and I ended up paying a lot more than initially estimated - Move organization, process was inefficient - Threw other people’s trash into our garbage - Didn’t take COVID precautions, knowing there was a senior citizen and kids in the house - Didn’t do a thorough job with the reassembly of things (bed frame didn’t have all the screws in place)
