Hired JC Movers for a labor-only in town move within Oak Park and had a great experience. On booking, Everett at the office was very helpful. He honored a price I had found on a booking service. Aaron and Larry showed up right on time at the beginning of the window and made quick work of our move. They helped wrap our couches and put our bed and box springs in the case I had purchased from Uhaul. They managed to get everything into the truck even though the rental company had given me a smaller one than I booked. On unloading they helped stack things by box type and destination. And they even helped move a few items within the house that were already there. And they knocked this all out in less time than scheduled. They were conscientious to only bill for the exact time worked to the minute but we paid for the full 4 hours because we were pleased with the job they had done. I have a container of furniture coming in later this month and if I need moving help I’ll definitely be calling JC again.

Very professional. Pictures taken of all items, before and after the move. Very efficient with time management also and informed me when finished. I would recommend them if someone needs a moving company; not to mention I will use their services if needed.

I hired this company via Simply Moving Labor to move my furniture and belongings into a PODS container. Elijah and Enoch came out to do the work and I'm so glad they did! They were very professional, on time, and handled my items with care. They even wrapped up my desk, coffee table and dining room table with moving blankets and tape I purchased. I was also very happy that they disassembled my bed for me! These gentleman were fast and worked well together as a team to ensure I received the best service. I would hire them again in a minute! 🙂

We recently used JC mover services and we were not satisfied with the service. Much of our property was damaged during the move, specifically during the loading process. Heavy items were dragged and ripped even before they made it to the truck. Some items were being thrown from the top floor into the parking lot and the dining room table was neither wrapped or even covered (we had blankets left over so a lack of these was not the issue) We also called and email them multiple times to help resolved the issue but they went completely silent. We were able to start a claim with hire a helper but that didn't even cover the cost of the service. We understand things can get somewhat damaged ( minor scratches, broken glass ect ) however the damage was beyond what's expected and the worst part was the lack of communication. DO NOT HIRE unless you want to go through the pain of having a lot of things damaged
