Maison Moving - Orange County

Really disappointed with this company and their service. We moved from a one bedroom condo to a single family home with storage in between. Upon delivery, we had several items of damaged furniture and multiple boxes that had been stored improperly. Boxes clearly labeled “fragile” had been completely crushed by heavy items, and a plastic box appears to have been tossed around, causing the clip-on lid to come off and the fragile ornaments inside to be crushed. The movers didn’t have the decency to put the broken pieces back, so my childhood Christmas decorations can’t even be pieced back together. We had custom engraved champagne flutes from our wedding that were crushed as well. We purchased the additional insurance that provided no coverage at all, as the damage was deemed too little to exceed the deductible. The claim process took me hours to complete as I had to research for purchase receipts from years prior, and in the end, we received little compensation. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I understand that accidents happen and a box or two might incur some damage, but we had almost all furniture (4 separate large items) come back with a dent or a scratch, and multiple fragile boxes with contents destroyed. Their complete lack of care and disregard for people’s items is evident. It’s a clear pattern of significant damage and poor service.

These guys are fantastic and pros at moving, I had 2 movers and a truck, and they were the best, Cody and Codie. They did the work with great interest, speed and accuracy. All the time keeping a positive and fun vibe. They are transparent on pricing and fully insured. Highly recommend.

I happened upon Maison by chance and have so happy i found them. Highly friendly and professional, great communication, and the gentlemen that did the labor where very nice, helpful, on task and completed the move much faster than i ever hoped. I would not hesitate to use Maison in the future. You wont be disappointed. Thank you Maison for making the difficult move so much easier!!

I used their services for a move of a one bedroom condo in Newport Beach. Well, two movers showed up unfortunately one had no clue what to do and stood around most of the day. Since I paid for two movers and it’s an hourly charge, this was very disappointing as it took much longer with only one person really working. I reached out to the company several times via email with my concerns they never responded. Another issue we ran into was all of the hardware for the furniture never made it to the destination, making it impossible to put the furniture back together. While the one mover that was in charge was very good and worked very hard which we appreciate we paid for two and did not get two. I absolutely would not use this company again due to the fact that they did not respond to my concerns, and they did not provide me with the service in which I paid for.

This was my second experience with Maison Moving. Both times the office staff was very knowledgeable and prepared me thoroughly for my move. Both times the movers were professional, careful, speedy, and considerate of my time, money, and possessions. I would absolutely use Maison Moving for my next move.
