Maribeth Gunderman, Sales Manager at Southbay Moving Systems, is a rare find in the business world – superbly competent, kind and patient. My move involved several destinations, rescheduling three times, along with my remote location and difficult driveway access. Ms. Gunderman knew exactly how to handle all of it, often assuring me of Southbay’s experience and expertise. A part of me was skeptical of her promises until her management and the excellent crew who did the work performed above and beyond what she had led me to expect. As a business owner myself, it often occurred to me that Ms. Gunderman is an absolutely invaluable asset to the company. Southbay Moving delivered perfect service with the true caring and attention to detail that we middle-aged folk have come to believe is a thing of the past. At Southbay it is NOT!
The moving crew also brought competence and caring. They were personable, and worked more quickly than any crew I’ve ever seen. (I’ve moved across the country six times.) They are not just guys the company picks up, but long-term employees. It shows.
I would recommend Southbay Moving Systems for any moving job. Maribeth truly understands how stressful moving is. She not only managed the move but also "managed" my stress, not with empty promises and platitudes, but with an explicit plan, down to the smallest detail and a crew capable of delivering on them. I could have asked for nothing more. She actually made moving almost enjoyable!

The team was professional, punctual, and extremely careful with our belongings. They handled everything with attention to detail, clear communication, and a great attitude throughout the entire process. Nothing was rushed, nothing was careless, and they consistently checked in to make sure things were done exactly the way we wanted.

I had lived in the same location for over 27 years and was completely unprepared for the moving experience. My Southbay Moving coordinator was Maribeth Gunderman and she was a lifesaver. I needed guidance every step of the way and she was always patient and helpful whenever I was overwhelmed. She rescheduled my move for me several times when I ran into complications with relocating out of state, always providing options where she could help me get past each obstacle.
The moving crew was professional, helpful, and efficient and got my possessions where they needed to be with little difficulty. But mostly, I cannot say enough good things about Maribeth Gunderman. Whenever I needed to be talked through a moving crisis, she was there to listen and help until I was ready to move on, and ultimately, we got it done.
