Up N Go Moving

I would strongly discourage anyone from using this company. If I can give zero stars I would. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I hired them to move furniture from a storage unit in New Jersey to my apartment in Brooklyn. Before the movers started loading, I personally walked through the storage unit and pointed out everything that was supposed to be transported. Despite that, one of my largest items, a standing mirror was left behind. What made the situation even worse was the conflicting information I received. When I asked where my mirror was, I was initially told it was in the building lobby. Later, I was told it had never been transported because it wasn't on the inventory. Those explanations contradict each other, and no one took responsibility. The move also resulted in damage to my carpet and trash can. Several of my moving boxes were crushed, and my sofa was wrapped so poorly that the protective wrap had already come apart during transport. Instead of addressing these concerns, the company responded with excuses and attempted to shift responsibility. Another thing that stood out was that payment was required before the move was fully completed. Looking back, I understand why. Once they had been paid, there seemed to be very little interest in resolving the problems. If something goes wrong during your move, don't expect accountability. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company and would never use them again.

I had a great experience with Up and Go Moving during my local move from Queens to Downtown Brooklyn. The team was professional, punctual, and handled all of my furniture and boxes with great care. They worked efficiently, communicated clearly throughout the entire process, and made what could have been a stressful day feel easy and organized. This was a big move with a lot of moving parts, a lot to transport, and several adjustments that had to be made along the way. On top of that, they were working on one of the hottest days of the year — and through it all, the team was incredibly hardworking, professional, patient, flexible, and an absolute pleasure to work with. A huge shout-out to Rezo and the entire team! What really stood out to me was their attitude and work ethic. No matter what came up, they adjusted, kept things moving, and handled everything with care and professionalism. Moving is stressful enough, and having a team you can trust — especially one that remains positive and solution-oriented throughout a long, demanding day — makes all the difference. I am genuinely grateful for how smoothly they handled such a substantial move. I would absolutely recommend Up and Go Moving to anyone looking for a dependable, hardworking, professional moving company, and I will definitely keep them in mind for any future moving needs. Excellent service from start to finish. From the administrative staff who prepared the quote to the movers who handled the move itself, everyone was professional, friendly and incredibly helpful. They made what can often be a stressful moving feel smooth, easy, and completely hassle free. On our end, we scheduled a video call beforehand so they could assess the volume of items being moved, and a turned out to be one of the best decisions we made.
