Up N Go Moving

I would strongly discourage anyone from using this company. If I can give zero stars I would. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I hired them to move furniture from a storage unit in New Jersey to my apartment in Brooklyn. Before the movers started loading, I personally walked through the storage unit and pointed out everything that was supposed to be transported. Despite that, one of my largest items, a standing mirror was left behind. What made the situation even worse was the conflicting information I received. When I asked where my mirror was, I was initially told it was in the building lobby. Later, I was told it had never been transported because it wasn't on the inventory. Those explanations contradict each other, and no one took responsibility. The move also resulted in damage to my carpet and trash can. Several of my moving boxes were crushed, and my sofa was wrapped so poorly that the protective wrap had already come apart during transport. Instead of addressing these concerns, the company responded with excuses and attempted to shift responsibility. Another thing that stood out was that payment was required before the move was fully completed. Looking back, I understand why. Once they had been paid, there seemed to be very little interest in resolving the problems. If something goes wrong during your move, don't expect accountability. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company and would never use them again.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Up and Go Moving! From start to finish, the entire experience was phenomenal. This was a big move with a lot of moving parts, a lot to transport, and several adjustments that had to be made along the way. On top of that, they were working on one of the hottest days of the year — and through it all, the team was incredibly hardworking, professional, patient, flexible, and an absolute pleasure to work with. A huge shout-out to Rezo and the entire team! What really stood out to me was their attitude and work ethic. No matter what came up, they adjusted, kept things moving, and handled everything with care and professionalism. Moving is stressful enough, and having a team you can trust — especially one that remains positive and solution-oriented throughout a long, demanding day — makes all the difference. I am genuinely grateful for how smoothly they handled such a substantial move. I would absolutely recommend Up and Go Moving to anyone looking for a dependable, hardworking, professional moving company, and I will definitely keep them in mind for any future moving needs. Everyone I encountered was friendly, professional, efficient, and wholly competent. I had a great experience with Up N’ Go moving! I’ve never hired movers in NYC before, and decided it was finally the time. I got several quotes from different moving companies and Up n Go’s was the most reasonable and pricing included the services I needed like bed frame disassembly and furniture protection. The movers arrived very promptly and were incredibly friendly and helpful. I hear so many horror stories about moving companies and I am so happy I found an excellent one. It made the move very smooth and I would hire them again!

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with this company. Their driver reversed into my vehicle, causing damage, and instead of taking responsibility and resolving the matter appropriately, the owner, Stefan, disputed what happened and refused to cover the damages. The way this situation has been handled has been completely unacceptable. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this company or trust them to handle my property responsibly. I am now pursuing the appropriate legal and insurance channels regarding the incident and the damages to my vehicle. See damages. The worst part it’s $500- really shows how classless and the Theif scammer Stefan is. Please proceed with precaution and see the conversation of him threatening to sue me. He would ONLY pay if my friend and I removed our reviews. How shady is that. I refused and was left paying. Now I’ve filed a lawsuit for emotional distress and other charges. He may also be arrested. Look into them they changed their business name several times due to horrible behavior to customers.
