Maxi Moving

10/10 would use and recommend maxi moving again. They were super communicative and easy to work with when planning the move. Day of move, we had three movers and they were very efficient and nice people. Careful with all our stuff and worked very hard moving from one walk up to another.

I normally don't write reviews, but I just want to share my positive experience. These guys were great. They were very careful with the furniture and my piano. They came prepared with all the necessary tools and equipment to protect the piano and floors. They took their time and were very careful in moving the piano to the new location, including up a few flights of stairs. I will use Maxi Moving again and again! Maxi Moving should be the only movers you consider if you love your piano. I can't express how appreciative we are for everything that you guys did for us! I want to publicly thank Ivan and his crew for their excellent work. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Maxi Moving moved me from NY to TX last summer and did a fantastic job with my difficult situation. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING broke and nothing was lost. The professional manner in which they handled everything was great to observe and so rare these days. Had difficult items to be packed they knew how to handle each piece perfectly. Bottom line (I know I sound repetitive) Professional, Great communication, Punctual within the confines of NY/Westchester traffic, Clean, Attentive and Accommodating and even handled delivery wonderfully at my non NY-like setting in TX. Highly recommend if you value your belongings, worth every penny!

This was my third time moving with Maxi, the first two times were great but this time was horrid. They must have switched workers because this last time was a terrible moving experience. The sales rep that helped me with my move was great. I had only moved 6 months prior so my move amount was about the same. The movers showed up earlier in the window which was great and got to work. They were almost done so I told them we’d meet them at the next location. Over 2 hours went by and I had not heard from them. This was supposed to be a 4 hour move and they were almost done when we left so I was very very confused. For context it was a 400 sq ft studio apartment that was pre packed so there was absolutely no reason for it to take 3.5 hours. I still don’t know what they were doing for the 2 hours We finally get them on their way to the storage unit and on our way. Then because of their delay they hit rush hour traffic and missed the elevator window for our new building. Luckily our management was kind enough to let us use it but they needed to pick up the pace (we are now on hour 5 of our 4 hour move) They are moving so slow and I only see two of them which was weird because I was paying for 4 movers. I went downstairs to the van and saw one of the workers smoking in said van. I was livid since they had just had over an hour in traffic where he could have smoked. 45 min later the same worker was now handling all my stuff without washing his hands and I could smell smoke on him in our brand new apartment. Overall because of the delay and the fact we only had 3 movers working the move cost over double what they quoted us which is unacceptable. If you do move with them you need to watch them like a hawk every second or they will scam you. I miss the old maxi moving. i used to tell everyone about them but now they’ve turned into one of the worst movers.
