This is my first time using Two men and a truck. The movers were amazing and diligent. However, I had very frustrating experience with the sales Sean and the bookkeeping team. During the moving day (Feb 22nd), they increased the price by $1800 saying my coach was a bit oversized. Then after they took the stuff to the warehouse, they decided that it fit perfectly well and the overcharge was not necessary. However, they did not notify me of this change, nor did they decide to issue me refund until I called at March 1st and asked for an updated receipt. Then the sales person Sean said oh we will issue you a refund. Two weeks pasted, I did not get anything. I emailed Sean again, and he was like, oh shoot let me loop in the bookkeeping team (apparently no one had done anything to issue me the refund). Then the bookkeeper asked me for address and then just disappeared for another 2 weeks. I followed up, and she was like, shoot turned out no one bothered to work on it. Then on April 4th, she said the check has been mailed out. Till today, I still have not received the check. No response from the bookkeeper anymore. It has been 2 months since my move, and they just casually raised the price on site, forcing you to take it or leave it on the moving day, then decide to quietly adjust the price back without saying anything, and when confronted, they pretended that they will refund you but for one month, no one did anything and the $1800 check just takes forever to arrive. Despite the high ratings of this company and the diligent services the movers provide, I am very disappointed at the Customer Service team.

This was my first time working with Two Men and A Truck, and it was a great experience. My move was a two-stop pick-up from Chicago and delivery in Bloomington-Normal, about 135 miles (2.5 hrs) south of Chicago. My move consisted of 6 bedroom sets (bed frame, dresser, mirror, night stand), 4 couches, 9 lamps, and 1 chair. Up front, the customer service team was responsive, understanding, and flexible. A few days prior to the move, the pickup time had to be shifted back ~2 hrs. The team adjusted immediately and without issue, and arrived promptly on the day of the move (with proactive communication in advance). The moving team - specicially the pair of “Alex and Tristan” from Chicago - did a flawless job. Everything was loaded quickly, efficiently, and without damage. The two were polite and communicated well throughout. This continued through the dropoff location. In total, the job lasted almost exactly 8 hrs. If I have a large and/or complex move in the future, I will use Two Men and A Truck. The service was fairly priced and executed well.

The moving team and the disposal team are awesome. They saved my life. The service was very efficient, professional and fast. They gave me service with a smile. Well trained at the job that they do and well brought up at home. I would recommend them to everyone moving. Shout out the them all. I loved the guys.

Shawn in the office was super helpful in planning and coordinating. Patrick and Daniel were our movers and very professional and courteous. The worked efficiently and called and texted every step of the way... as we had a lot going on! Thank you!! Would definitely use this service again

Jacob and Rob were the best movers I've ever had! Everything went smoothly on moving day, and they were extremely kind, professional, fast, careful and thoughtful. Worth every penny!

I was overcharged by $900, I was offered $100 as a good will gesture. No thanks. I was taken advantage of and you know it.

HORRIBLE - They were lazy and would not move a couch because it had to be taken apart. They double billed me and did not refund me for the over draft fee....
