Get to know Euless, TX

A suburb of Fort Worth, Euless is a part of the Mid-Cities between Dallas and Fort Worth.  The city is named after Tennessee native, Elisha Adam Euless, who moved to the state in 1867.  He bought 170 acres of land, and began a cotton gin and community center.  The early community of Euless developed around the land Euless owned and residents decided to honor him by naming the city after him.  One popular attraction is the nationally awarded Arbor Daze festival.  The annual celebration of trees is typically held the last weekend of April.  Some of the major employers in Euless include the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District and LSG Sky Chefs, Inc.
