Get to know Park Ridge, IL

Park Ridge is a Cook County city 15 miles northwest of Chicago.  It started as a brick-making center during the development of Chicago because of the rich clay deposits found in the soil.  Notable attractions include the Pickwick Theatre, an Art Deco venue listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  The population witnessed steady growth until the 1970’s when the population began to decline.
