Get to know Berwyn, IL

The Cook County suburb of Berwyn is located about 11 miles from Chicago.  It is known for having the most significant collection of Chicago-style bungalows in the nation.  Since 2012, hundreds of people have begun moving out of Berwyn each year. Despite this exodus, Berwyn’s claim of having the highest population density of any municipality in the Chicagoland area has not been effected, with still over 14,500 inhabitants per square mile.  Berwyn is also known for its proximity to historic Route 66, which features annual car shows and festivals.
