Get to know Pico Rivera, CA

Pico Rivera lies in the southern edge of the San Gabriel Valley approximately 11 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles.  The city was formed in 1958 when the unincorporated communities of Pico and Rivera merged.  The land had been used for agriculture until the post war boom saw an increase in home developments and industy.  The largest employers in the city are El Rancho Unified School District and Wal-Mart.
