Get to know Eastvale, CA

The city of Eastvale is located in the Inland Empire region of Southern California.  Like much of California, the area was originally inhabited by Tongva people and then Mexican ranchers.  These lands passed the United States following the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo and in 1889 the Fuller family was given ranch land that encompassed much of present day Eastvale.  The area remained rural agricultural land and dairy farms until the 1990’s.  At this time people coming from neighboring Orange and Los Angeles Counties flooded the area looking for affordable housing.  The city was only incorporated in 2010.
