My name is Kurt Larsen, and I am the Owner/ Managing Partner of Big Heart Moving LLC. The beautiful lady in the picture is my girlfriend Emily, founder of From the Heart Charity Foundation. We are a locally owned residential and commercial moving company based out of South Houston, Texas. I was raised in Texas for a majority of my childhood but moved to Lexington, KY where I was part of the start-up of Wildcat Moving, LLC, the #1 ranked moving company in Kentucky by Angie’s list since 2012. I have lived here in Southeast Texas for the past couple years and want to bring my community the same hard working attitude and excellent reputation we developed at Wildcat Moving to the great state of Texas!

Having worked my way from Mover to Manager gives me a unique perspective and allows me to connect with both customer and employee. A happy employee translates to a hard worker, which leads to a happy customer. We work hard to keep overhead expenses low, which affords us the opportunity to pass those savings on to the people in our community. This also gives us the time and funding to help our neighbors with volunteering and donations to charities such as From the Heart Charity Foundation. I booked a 5 man crew with 2 trucks for my move this past weekend. 4 out of the 5 guys were very unprofessional and lazy. They took hours to halfway load up the 2 trucks, then one of the trucks broke down on the side of the road and they called me to have someone come to jump it. One of the crew members was on their phone almost the entire time until I questioned him about it. Another guy left early stating he had a family emergency. About an hour after that, another member left as well. Mind you, I was paying for a 5 man crew but at this point I only had 3 men there and only 1 actually working efficiently. While moving furniture from my upstairs they managed to scrape paint off of my walls in multiple areas. They dumped charcoal out in my front yard. They only filled up the two 26ft trucks halfway (picture is attached), causing them to make more trips then necessary. To say I am disappointed and very unpleased with the service I was provided would be an understatement. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

On time and very professional crew, Kurt was very helpful and made his pricing very easy, didn’t try and hit us with any hidden fees like our Moving experiences in the past. Highly recommended and plan on using for all future moves.

1) I almost never respond to mass-mailings, but I'm glad I did this time 2) the crew (Marcus, Kurtis, and Vicente) was on time and communicated their ETA before arriving 3) crew was respectful and hard working. They even deducted their 5 minute break (although I didn't want them to) Highly recommend.

These guys were awesome! They were incredibly professional and their customer service was amazing. They were the most affordable company we took quotes from and didn't start the clock until they touched the first box. Jordan, Charles and Dylan worked hard and were moving the entire time. Even when the elevator broke in our four story apartment building, they worked around it and did their best to make up the time. They took great care of our belongings and everything thing survived the move in excellent condition. We would definitely use Big Heart again.
