Located northwest of downtown Boston, the Prospect Hill neighborhood is just over the edge of the Charles River and directly next to Harvard University and Cambridge. The area is littered with some of the best coffee joints and cafes in all of Boston; you can find one around every single corner. Where there’s coffee you’ll usually find breakfast, and almost all of the best-rated restaurants in Prospect Hill serve up breakfast or brunch.
While the restaurant scene is impressive, the attractions and events will draw even more people into this neighborhood. The district is also only a few blocks away from the coast of the Mystic River, providing some of the most scenic views in the city. The shopping areas are plentiful; Assembly Row gives residents a great spot to shop during the holidays or any other time of year.
