Worst moving experience we’ve EVER had - and we’ve moved a lot! Run far away and do not use this unprofessional and fraudulent company!!! They damaged over 10k of furniture, chipped walls and stairs, had no basic knowledge on how to move or assemble large items and the movers were high off their asses all day. The company sent 3 men instead of 4 and the truck was too small so we ended up having to pay for almost double the hours. When working with claims they told me I was trying to extort money from them because I wanted to be reimbursed for the repairman needed to fix walls at our old and new house. Won’t pay for anything and have stopped communicating with us and said “get a lawyer” if you expect anything from us. More detail below if you want it, but if not just trust me and use any other moving company (we had used new city 4x previously with great experience each time- wish I would have stuck with them!). nn-booked 4 man crew and 3 arrived. No attempt to make this right other than changing rate. This made for 3 exhausted movers by end of the day who made tons of mistakes. n-truck was too small. During quote process I let the company know that other quotes included two trucks and they assured me our move would be 1 truck and if not they could get a second truck no problem. Not the case. Instead the crew had to make two trips which added 4 extra hours onto our move. n-movers wreaked of pot and one was so high by end of the move that he was visibly disoriented and just dropping furniture right in front of our eyes. n-no knowledge on how to maneuver large pieces thru doorways or stairs. Lead mover was coaching the others on the basics of carrying furniture up stairs. n-took chunks out of staircase walls at both houses, scratched walls and took chunk out of wooden stair banister. n-ripped our large sectional sofa in two places n-dropped an end table right off the truck and ruined it n-chipped legs on multiple pieces of wood furnituren-mattresses and several upholstered items came off the truck with huge rust and dirt stains due to how filthy inside of truck was and how poorly wrapped items weren-my husband and My 5 month pregnant self had to help unload the truck for a good 3 hours to speed things along and it still took 12 hours (this was a 3 bedroom move)n-even with all of the mistakes we fed the movers lunch and dinner and gave them a $200 tip as we felt like they were not set up for success by the company.n-filled out loads of paperwork and sent detailed emails to claims to get reimbursed for the damage. Claims told me they had no one that could fix our damaged walls before our close date on our old property. I found a handyman that quoted $200 for the fixes at each place for total of $400. I was then told the damage to walls was “normal wear and tear” and they would only cover $200. This is with the movers admitting to all the damage they chased and with detailed photos of everything. I said that was unacceptable and threatened a bad review. They came back and claimed that was “extorting them for money” and they would not give me anything and would not communicate with me and to “get a lawyer” if I wanted anything back. I consulted with our lawyer who said unfortunately his time would cost more than what they would eventually pay out so we are stuck with thousands of damaged furniture, chipped walls and a crazy high moving bill. nnTrust me- I never write reviews and I’m doing this to hopefully save someone else a horrible experience that will cause you so much unnecessary stress and money. We now have to file home owners insurance claim to try and recoup at least some of the money to cover all the damage. This company is a fraud and they will find a way to stuff you out of any money after they do a shit job. Sarah in claims will act like she’s on your side and then do anything she can to find a way out of paying. Just please don’t use this company. New city was pretty comparable on price and I’m so mad at myself for not just going with what we knew. Don’t do it!!!!

Edgar, Omar, Arcangel, and Rafael worked hard and efficiently. Great experience with the whole process. Professionally disassembled and reassembled Pool Table moved it carefully, without any damage. Handled furniture with care, No damages! Hardly recommend this professional movers and company. Will definitely use them again, specially this crew!

This is my first moving experience when we decided to get a company to do the work. We had 3 movers, who were very nice and friendly ! They disassembled all the furniture and packed it in the protective covers! They were very diligent and were putting effort to not damage the furniture or the walls in our previous rental apartment. Me and my husband pre packed all the boxes ahead of time and we made sure all fragile items were properly protected with cloth material. The movers loaded everything to the truck in a timely manner. We were very happy with the process! They made our move easy and fun !! I would definitely recommend the Coffey Bros to my friends and family! I did a quick Timelapse video of the process for our memories

Sarah in claims will act like she’s on your side and then do anything she can to find a way out of paying. Just please don’t use this company. New city was pretty comparable on price and I’m so mad at myself for not just going with what we knew. Don’t do it!!!!
