Get to know Yorba Linda, CA

Yorba Linda is an affluent suburb in Orange County.  The land had been owned by Jose Antonio Yorba and his descendants.  The Janss Investment Company purchased part of the land in 1907 and was the first to call the area Yorba Linda.  The company subdivided the land for agriculture and manufacturing.  It proved a suitable place for lemon and orange groves.   The Yorba Linda Citrus Association was founded in 1912.  The small town saw vast growth by the 1960’s and was incorporated as a city in 1967.  The top employers in Yorba Linda are CareFusion and Nobel Biocare.  Popular attractions include the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum.  Famous residents have included Danielle Fishel and Richard Nixon, who was born in the city in 1913.
